Walking Permission: A Soul Conversation Series
I have just birthed my new book, Joy as the Compass: Freeing Ourselves from the Seven Activist Addictions. And I have reserved a seat just for you in a sacred circle of women who are walking permission to ground our lives in rest and root them in joy.
Each, in her own way, has made joy her compass and/or found practical ways to embody the Spirit of Sabbatical. In this inspired series, we get raw, vulnerable, and honest about what it takes to live counter to a culture deeply enmeshed in the seven activist addictions:
Soul Conversation One With Clare Dubois
Having gone into what she calls “massive debt with her life force”, Clare shares how her resignation as the founder and CEO of TreeSisters took her on an unexpected journey through childhood trauma in order to reclaim her health and to heal her nervous system. Clare is raw and vulnerable as she shares her caterpillar disintegration into primordial goo and how she was held in the cocoon of sabbatical during her transformation.
(Sensitivity Alert: This soul conversation touches on the trauma of childhood sexual abuse.)
